Have I said yet how much FUN this is!?!?!?? Over the weekend Mikey started saying Night Night. It’s sooooooo cute. So I pulled out the video camera to capture that just because it was cute how he said it. Well I not only got night night but he turned saw the camera and said CHEESE while smiling. The kid is seriously a trip. Hope you enjoy the video as much as I have.

Took this today while he was at the playground at daycare. As you can see he’s doing REALLY REALLY well!!!!

Yesterday while visiting Mikey at daycare he was playing in the little house they have and they started this spanish CD him and another little boy stopped everything they were doing as soon as they heard the beginning of the song (Palo Bonito by Chayanne). And then when the song really kicked into high gear both boys were bopping around. It was the funniest thing to watch. So this morning I found the song online and played it for Mikey so that I could catch him dancing to it on video. Enjoy!

I never could have imagined the love Mikey could have for our dog, Max. It’s absolutely amazing to watch them together. Max has been so tolerant of Mikey, laying there while his eyes got poked at or his hair got pulled. He’d never budge because he knew Mikey was smaller, let alone Mikey is higher than him on the totem pole in our house and Max knows that. Here’s a cute video I captured tonight of Mikey showing Max how much he loves him. Giving Max “Big Hugs”. One of the ways Mikey hugs is by putting his forehead on your forehead and you’ll see him doing that in the video with Max.

I hit the tri-fecta today with the video camera! I was able to first coax Mikey to take a few steps on his own towards his push walker. Then as he was running around the house with that I was able to get him to say Ball (listen closely), and then he waves bye bye to the camera.

It’s been AWHILE since I’ve posted a Mikey video. Last night while in his bath he picked up one of his rubber duckies and held it up to his ear and started using it as a phone. I immediately got my video camera and caught this little snipit. You can even hear him saying Hi which is his new favorite word, actually its more like Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. )

Ok almost too old LOL

We have stashed Mikey’s swing and jumperoo in our formal living room since he doesn’t use either of them anymore. Well yesterday he crawled over to the jumperoo and was eyeing in, he did it again not too long ago so I decided to adjust it and bring it over to the regular living room and plopped him in it. He had a fabulous time in it, he’s barely under the weight limit for it so he won’t be able to use it for much longer.

Took my handy dandy flip video camera down when I visited Mikey this morning. His teachers put up a big piece of paper on the wall and gave all the kids chalk so that they could “color”. I was able to capture Mikey’s experience with the chalk:

Instead of playing with HIS toys he has discovered Max’s toy box and rather go play with Max’s toys. So here is a cute video of Mikey checking out what’s inside Max’s box.

Been a long time since I posted a video of Mikey. Got a cute one of him doing his army crawl. It looks more like the worm in this video but he’s moving forward!
