Just like mommy always does, she came downstairs today at 4pm to pick me up from daycare. I was sitting down in my favorite area as she collected all of my bottles to take home. Before she came to get me my caregiver told mommy that she had a report for her. Mommy got all excited thinking that it was a progress report since I’ve been going to daycare for almost a month. Nope it was an accident report. Around 3pm today I was sitting on the floor minding my own business like I usually do and another kid came up to me and scratched my cheek. I cried and cried and cried because it hurt. They ended up putting ice on my cheek and I felt a lot better by the time mommy came to get me.

So mommy has been wanting to get my passport taken care of so that we can eventually go on a cruise this year. Well today we decided to go shopping at Costco and since they have a little photo department we asked if they could take a picture of a 4 month old. Sure they could….only if whomever holds him can hold him so that their hands don’t show up in the picture. So Mikey sat on daddy’s head so that he was high enough and so that daddy’s hands didn’t show up in the picture. So after two shots here is the pic that will be in my passport, I think they came out GREAT:

Time is just FLYING by. It feels like just yesterday he was born and was sooooo tiny. He looks so different now and I’m sure in just another month he’ll not only look different but I’m sure he’ll be doing new things too.

8 more months to go Mikey and you’ll be 1!!!! Ahhh can we slow this down??

So since at my appointment today the pediatrician told mommy and daddy I’m old enough to start baby food we wasted no time. They decided to start me on Rice cereal which is what the pediatrician told us to start with. It was only a small amount but BOY did it seem like a lot. I ate almost all of it and by the end I was getting the hang of how to use a spoon.

So this morning mommy, daddy, and me went to the pediatrician for my 4 month visit. Well ok not quite 4 months, but close enough. We were there for no lie 2 hours. It was BAD and the thing is we got there in time for our 8:30 am appointment so there is no way they were that backed up. Finally when it was our turn I got undressed and weighed and am now a whopping 15lbs 12oz. I’m a BIG chunky boy. And then they measured my height and I’m 25.5 inches. Apparently I’m slightly above average on both weight and height. I got a bunch of shots and I was not a happy camper. Thankfully daddy was there to hold me and console me. He’s my best friend.
